Million Dollar Decorator Launches fabric line with F. Schumacher

Do any of you watch Million Dollar Decorator on Bravo??  Mary McDonald, one of the designers spotlighted on the show, has released her own line of fabrics for F. Schumacher and Company.  You may not be a fan of hers (she has a strong personality, and her design sense is also quite bold) but the line itself is fabulous! 

I actually think she is very funny and I love her spunky diva vibe.  I may not love everything she does, but I think she is exceptionally talented.  She has an ability to make bold colors look luxurious and expensive (that is not easy).  I also love the mix of the traditional with the modern.  The fabrics here are no different.  She mixes florals and botanicals with Greek key and Asian inspired trimmings.  There are contemporary twists off of traditional patterns and changes to scale from small to large prints. I think the simplicity of this chair in the foreground with the gorgeous tangerine Chinois pattern, trimmed with that grey and white band is fresh.

The ottoman above is upholstered in a raised velvet pattern, it is stunning! I don't think the picture does  it justice.

I love the rug featured in this spread as well, by Patterson, Flynn and Martin, pattern, Paterre.
And how about that sweet fabric on the chair! A modern version of the Python snakeskin. Very chic!

Yummy Yummy! Look at that velvet again!

This "chevron" pattern is so beautiful! I would use this on so many things. It's modern, but can be utilized to update a traditional space too!

Here's that chevron pattern again with a splash of red (black red and white is sort of Ms. McDonald's signature look). paired with the velvet are two beautiful quilted honeycomb solids.

I love this detail on the chair. I always appreciate when the very fine details are well thought out. This is so special.
This looks like the Madame Wu applique was spit in half for each side of the kick. Clever!

This would be so fantastic on a headboard!!!! This is on my list of dream fabrics. Super modern and  to think I used to hate flamestitch!!!
